Well, the site is now going from strength to strength with many people from far afield and from our lovely Dominican shores visiting, registering as members and returning time and time again.

The Real DR provides news, weather and sports news from not only the Dominican Republic, but from around the world.

The Dream Project
The Dominican Republic Education And Mentoring (DREAM) Project is a US 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides equitable access to quality education for children born into poverty in rural areas and small communities of the Dominican Republic by combining volunteerism, international awareness, and community involvement into a sustainable support system.

Island Impact
Island Impact Ministries, a non-profit organization was founded by Robert and Kelli Nelson of Southampton, NY in December 2003.

Robert and Kelli, drawing from their many years of mission experience in Haiti ,began Island Impact to bring education and basic medical care to the poorest people on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, in Sosua, Puerto Plata.
