Great experience, Carlos our guide was excellent. Fantastic attitude, knowledgable with history of the island and always ensured we were having fun and were safe. Boogie boarding was a blast, the beach was terrific. Thanks for sharing a little part of your island with us. Really appreciated the time and effort. An excellent tour. One gets a good introduction to the rural area and its people. Carlos, our guide, and Franklin, our driver, treat their guests as friends and are very knowledgeable. Carlos speaks english with a north american accent as if it were a first language rather than his second language self taught from dealing with english speaking tourists. The lunch itself is worth taking the tour. The rum served is not "bar" rum but a very good dark rum. The afternoon boogie boarding caps off a memorable day. Really excellent value well worth the price!

We travelled in August 2011 and our guide was Junior, what an amazing day!!! We worried that our 9yr old son would be bored but we were wrong to worry. The day is fun filled and the guides are so friendly and eager to amuse. Special thanks to Julian who was a guide on another tour bus but made such a fuss of our son that he cried when he left him. We went on a family vacation in August 2011 and we did the North Coast Outback Safari Tour in Punta Cana and we had a BLAST! Our guide was Eddie and our driver was Juan or how my mom called him "Juanito", they were great and so much fun! We laughed, drank, ate and enjoyed our time all while we experienced the real Dominican Republic. This tour was really a highlight during our trip, it was worth every penny and we highly recommend it. We got to taste and buy local products, visit with the locals and swim at a beautyful beach which was better than the one at our resort, at the time. Thank you guys so much for everything, family!

Oh My God! What an awesome day. Words alone can do this fantastic day justice. My girlfriend and I went on the jeep tour and had the best day. Alex, our tour guide, was awesome. He gave us some history of both Haiti and the Domincan Republic, was very easy to talk to, and made us feel very comfortable. We did a lot in the full day but never felt rushed. We saw beautiful beaches, how products are made, had a breathtaking view of the country side while eating lunch, saw an old church, a school they built, and learned so much. Now i'm 17!!! i still remember my tour guide his name was ruddy and i had a little crush on him. i wonder what he's like these days!! but seriously i went on this trip 6 years ago and i still remember how good it was, so that proves it's an amazing trip, so everyone should book it :)

Me and my boyfriend have just done the outback safari on the 24th june 2011, and was AMAZING!!!!! Our guide was Jessie and driver Leo, those guys made the whole day. visiting the school and the Dominican house was such an eye opener and would love to do this trip again!!!! This was a fantastic day from start to finish.Myself and my partner both been ex-reps for a large tour opperator had great expectations for this event and these were outweighed by miles.Our guide for the day was ANGEL our driver was LEO.These guys both knew everything there was to know about the dominican they ensure you get all information you want and also ask if you have any other questions they take you to some truely wonderfull places,Places you would never see been just a normal tourist you get to see traditinal dominican villages and schools and have a deep involvement within these areas.Please make sure you take items for the school children pens,pencils,books,ect....coco,coffee,producers and try the samples at chappys.Go inside the dominicans houses and see how they live try the local viagra (MAMA JUANA).And all day long they keep the Rum,Beer,Soft drinks flowing call off at the ranch for lunch and ensure you take in the panoramic views from you table.visit Juan the handmade cigar maker and his office with the best views in the world.And then its off to the beach to do a bit of swimming or if you like a boggie boarding.This was the best event me and my partner have been on ever and trust me with our old job roles we have been on hundreds of events. Just returned from the Dominican Republic yesterday. Me, Fiona, Dave, Adam, Les and Jacqueline went on the jeep safari with Jessie as tour guide, Hose as driver and Franky as a trainee, they were all superb! please please go and see the real dominican its a fantastic day out, our guide was angel a lovely man and hes very passionet about the outbacks work, please tak pecils felt tips etc the school kids love them and they are really needed.Its a real eye opener take your kids along it will make them more appreciated for what they have in their life.

I don't even know where to start about this tour. Even with the rain towards the end, We have no complaints. From beginning to finish, our Guide, Alex, was informative, funny and made us feel very comfortable. We brought a bag full of supplies for the kids at the school. Bought some fresh ground cocoa. Tasted Mamajuana and hot chocolate. When we come back, this is the tour we will go to. Their support for the community is very touching and we are happy to give our support to Outback Safari. We took this tour Wed 18 May 2011, what a fantastic day we had.Our guide Junior was entertaining. informative and helped make a great tour fantastic. The visits to the school & local family were wonderful, a real insight into life here, somewhat humbling too. The lunch was lovely & the drinks provided throughout the day were very welcome. The boogy boarding at the end of the day was a complete contrast but so glad we tried it . This really was a great day & we recommended it to other guests upon our return to the hotel. The help you give the local comunity & schools should make you very proud, we loved every minute and cant praise it highly enough. My husband,daughter and I went on the Outback Safari on Tuesday 19th April 2011. Alex our guide and Ceasor our driver were both fab! We had an amazing day, not only is it great fun but very educational too! My daugher took pictures of the school we visited so that she could take them to her own school to show her teachers on our return. We cannot recommend this trip enough and will definately do it again next time we return to the Dominican Republic.

Went on the Outback Safari from Puerto Plata and I must say our guide Ruddy and Juan our driver were amazing. Our guide was funny, informative and very knowledgable. I had an wonderful day and learned alot about how ppl live in the Dominican Republic. I would recommend this tour to everyone and I will be back next year to do this tour again. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was and how much I enjoyed it. Thank you for a unique experience and I will be back again.
